He's been a little down lately, and he mentioned once wanting to experience a proper family dinner. So I was wondering if you'd want to be a part of something like that.

Really, Dave mentioned something like that? I'm a little surprised. Well, I will be happy to attend, although I'll admit I've no experience in the matter myself.

Even better then. It can be your first experience with one too, which makes it even more valuable.

I'm not sure when yet, but it'll be sometime within the next couple of days if that's alright with you. I just have to get everyone together first.

[ he commonly ate meals with all of his friends back in saint-germain's mansion, actually - if Minato counts eating a meal with others as a family dinner, he supposes he's had them. But he doesn't bother mentioning any of that. ]

Is there something I should bring? My cooking options are quite limited here, but nonetheless, I'm willing to try.

If you want to, you can, but Argentum-san and Caramia-san are going to help me with the cooking too. So it should be okay if you can't, too.

So we should be set with tasty things, at least. And, I think, energetic people. That'll help keep Dave's spirits up the most, even if he doesn't show it much.

That's not true. Anyone would do something like this, really, if they had the chance to help out a friend.

I think you know as well as I do that not just anyone would do something like this - especially under our current circumstances, and for someone they've only known for a month or two. It's a compliment.

Anyway time to cut this short and get the hell out of dodge before Lupin comes up with more compliments or something. They're hard to deal with.]
